COED SLOW PITCH SCRIMMAGE GAMES..EVERY SUNDAY FROM 12-2PM
Submitted by PUNISHER28 on Sat, 01/09/2010 - 6:18pm.My team is looking for other coed softball teams to scrimmage against every Sunday from 12 pm to 2 pm for practice and fun. The coed teams must be the 5-guy/5-girl format and all coed rules apply: no lead offs; everyone starts with one ball, one strike; ASA bats only; and no umpires.
I will provide the permits, bases and music and each team will pay $10 for the bases and permits when they play (that’s basically $1/per person on a team). I will also be holding Mini-Tournaments, once a month where it will be 4 teams and 3 games. More information when you reply back.

Little League Manager's Aide
Submitted by Crofoot on Fri, 01/18/2008 - 4:45am.For the first time manager of little league for A ball or Tee ball, I've created an interactive schedule. FREE DEMO AVAILABLE ONLINE
At these levels the kids are just learning how the game is played. And if you are like me, you want to minimize the complaints from the parents.
With this scheduler, you simply fill in the players name on the roster page and the players are auto filled into a 16 game season rotating evenly through all the positions. Then rank the batters according to your line up and the batting order is auto entered for each game.
What's the Craziest Sport You've Ever Tried?
Submitted by TheMayor on Fri, 12/07/2007 - 10:03pm.My sporting pursuits have been much of the standard fare: Soccer, basketball, football, etc. I'd love to hear about some of your more extreme sports experiences. The crazier the better.
Four Easy Steps To Improve Your 10-yard and 40-yard dash
When I played college football, it amazed me at how many of my teammates had no clue how to optimize their sprint times. Their technique is poor, their starts are awful, and they think they are ok!
And their high school coaches are "know-it-alls"! While I was a player, several teammates approached me to help them improve their 40-yard dash (one was a legitimate draft pick). The situation was a quick fix for speed.
I had no time for a training program so I had to look at their technique. I have found with most football players untrained in sprint technique, they make four common mistakes.

PROBLEM: There are significant disadvantages to carrying a single water bottle while walking and running. Clutching a single bottle impedes the rhythm of your workout by creating imbalance, forcing your body to compensate. Plus, most of the single water bottles you carry are disposable and clog up your landfills.
