You are only on the slopes for a limited amount of time each day, it is very expensive, and you don't want to spend all your time guessing how to improve.
Hiring instructors is nice, but they can be very expensive (just to be part of a group lesson with 8 or more people can easily set you back over $100)...
And if you want a PRIVATE lesson you are going to have to spend AT LEAST $300 in most resorts.
